Houses in Vegas are built notoriously close to each other. I have a neighbor who insists on putting campaign signs on her lawn. Quite literally on her lawn on the side of the house that connects with mine. So close that the lines could be a tiny bit blurred as to whether we are sharing that sign or not. The problem? I see the name on the sign and I wonder \” have you been conscious for the past few years?\” and I want to rip it down. By the way, it is not a Senate race sign. I do not rip juicy couture hoodiesit down though, because despite what I believe this candidate believes, I actually believe in freedom of speech and liberty for all so I know my neighbor has a right to this sign. My question is this…. Why the sign? Certainly these signs do not change peoples minds. In this economy, with this environment, I would think putting a sign up could be dangerous to your health. I guess the sign does let the candidate know you support them, yet how often does that candidate take a Sunday drive by your home again? That is what I thought. This is what I think about signs. I think that if you are a no name candidate at the beginning of a race it makes sense to get your name out there. However, once you are out there, once you have been in Congress for quite a while and have failed stunningly, then stick to the television. Save some money. Shoot, go down to the welfare office and give away your money if you need tjuicy couture watchesjuicy couture jewelryjuicy couture tracksuits ask if it is ok. Okay? Just an update…. THe very next day after publishing this my neighbor moved the sign. I do not think they read this so it was probably just a coincidence, but interesting none the less. It is amazing how the power of the mind works. Either that or she saw me staring st the sign every time I drove out of my garage. My neighbor is actually cool enough that I could probably ask her about it, but then again, hmm I don\’t know. The sign in general shows me a general lack of trust. I mean… sjuicy couture glasseseriously. Anyway, that is the end of that long story. I hope that if nothing else people will start to think before putting signs in their yard. Leave the sigjuicy couture bagsns for the road and the empty, unpopulated ground. We as neighbors need to be friendly to each other. WE certainly do not needjuicy couture underwea to be talking politics. We will never agree and we will never change our neighbors minds.
